Nestled in the rolling hills of North Yorkshire, The Little White Bus company provides a vital lifeline for the Upper Dales’ community and its visitors. Founded in 2011 by residents who recognised the need to preserve essential transport links across the region, Little White Bus now operates multiple routes through Swaledale and Wensleydale, supported by paid and volunteer drivers.

The Challenge
Like all UK transport operators, Little White Bus is legally required to complete daily vehicle safety checks. However, relying on paper-based inspections created major challenges for a community transport organisation without a central depot.
Each vehicle carried a paper inspection book to record the required checks, but with no depot to return to at the end of each shift, collecting and filing this paperwork became a logistical burden.
