Ticketer, the leading provider of real-time information, fleet management and smart ticketing solutions, has today announced it has been awarded supplier status under the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Transport Technology Framework.
This marks a significant milestone for Ticketer, opening a new route for UK local authorities, transport authorities and bus operators to procure Ticketer solutions via a trusted, centralised procurement channel.
Streamlining procurement for the UK transport industry
Launched in November 2025, the new framework replaces the previous Transport Technology and Associated Services (TTAS) agreement and offers a more streamlined procurement route for authorities and operators to source a wide range of transport-related technologies and services – from smart ticketing and data platforms to traffic management and environmental monitoring.
Ticketer’s appointment to the framework further validates their technology’s strength, quality and innovation – confirmed by meeting the rigorous standards required by UK public-sector procurement.
Accelerating smart technology adoption
With Ticketer on the framework, public-sector organisations across the UK can procure their solutions through a centralised, compliant and widely recognised mechanism -lowering procurement barriers and accelerating the adoption of modern, user-friendly technologies.
For local authorities pursuing Bus Service Improvement Plans, Enhanced Partnerships or franchising models, this provides a fast and transparent route to deploy Ticketer’s proven solutions. It also aligns with national efforts to modernise transport, improve passenger experience and support decarbonisation and overall network efficiency.
Driving better public transport
“We’re delighted that Ticketer has been recognised for the quality and capability of our solutions, and that we’ve exceeded the high standards required to join the CCS Transport Technology Framework,” said Adam Toone, Chief Commercial and Operations Officer.
“This framework underscores the vital role that modern, intelligent technologies play in the future of public transport in the UK. By making our industry-leading solutions available through CCS, we’re enabling local authorities and transport operators to enhance public-transport services more quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively – benefitting all who deliver and use it.”
