Worcestershire County Council has commenced a county-wide upgrade of ticketing technology, deploying the Ticketer TK300 electronic ticket machine across bus operators throughout the region.
Supporting Better Bus Services Across Worcestershire
Rollout of the TK300 underpins Worcestershire CC’s ongoing commitment to improving local bus services, by providing operators with modern, connected technology that better supports service delivery and the passenger experience.
Deployment will commence onboard LMS Travel before expanding across further operators throughout the region.
Scalable Solutions, Smarter Services
Combining ticketing, AVL and real-time operational data within a connected ecosystem, the TK300 will help operators and Worcestershire CC streamline workflows, gain greater visibility of performance and make more informed operational decisions.
Rollout will also include Ticketer’s Vehicle Checklists solution, enabling drivers to complete daily vehicle inspections digitally through their TK300 devices. By replacing paper-based processes, operators can improve compliance, streamline record-keeping and gain greater visibility of fleet safety and maintenance requirements.

Stuart Payton, Head of Transport Operations at Worcestershire County Council, said:
“Improving the everyday experience of bus travel remains a priority for us. Building on last year’s Tap On / Tap Off rollout, the introduction of the latest next-generation ticket machines is another important step towards making journeys smoother and more reliable.”
“This upgrade will provide local operators with the modern, connected technology needed to make travel more convenient and efficient. By continuing to invest in better technology, we hope to encourage even more people to choose bus travel across Worcestershire.”
Adam Toone, Chief Operating Officer at Ticketer, comments:
“We’re delighted to be working with Worcestershire County Council on this significant investment in bus technology across the county.”
“By combining the TK300 with Vehicle Checklists, operators will benefit from greater operational efficiency, improved compliance processes and enhanced visibility across their fleets. We look forward to supporting Worcestershire’s operators as the rollout progresses, and helping deliver continued improvements for passengers across the region.”
