Falcon Coaches has reaffirmed its long-standing partnership with Ticketer, marking a decade of working together by signing a new five-year agreement.
The renewed contract will see Falcon upgrade its fleet to the Ticketer TK300 electronic ticket machine (ETM), alongside the deployment of Ticketer Driver Connect – the supplier’s latest on-bus communications solution.
Supporting Falcon’s Next Phase of Growth
A valued Ticketer customer since 2016, Falcon Coaches‘ latest investment coincides with the launch of its new electric fleet, underpinning its drive to reduce carbon emissions and representing a significant investment in both operational efficiency and the passenger experience.
The roll out coincides with the start of Falcon’s new contract with Kingston University for their Intercampus bus service, which will see 5 new ADL E400EV buses add to Falcon’s electric fleet.
The roll out of the TK300 is currently underway and will be phased over the next three years, with completion expected in 2028. The new machines will be ear marked for Falcon‘s Kingston University contract where services are particularly busy and the increased processing speed of the TK300 will quickly create value and positive impact for drivers and passengers alike.
Following the TK300 roll out, Ticketer Tap On / Tap Off technology will also be trialed to further improve the customer experience.
Investing for Long Term Success
By upgrading to the TK300, Falcon Coaches will benefit from Ticketer’s industry-leading ETM, featuring faster processing, increased reliability and an intuitive driver interface to enhance day-to-day operations, whilst providing a scalable platform for future innovation.
Complementing the hardware upgrade, Driver Connect will enable integrated secure two-way voice calling and broadcasts directly through the TK300, leveraging its in-built mic and speakers.
Together, the investment will provide Falcon Coaches with a modern, connected technology ecosystem that supports today’s operational requirements while providing flexibility to adopt future innovations as they become available.
