Ticketer is delighted to announce that long-standing customer Shuttle Buses is upgrading its ticketing and fleet technology, with the operator deploying new Ticketer TK300 devices in January 2026, in addition to Ticketer’s bolt-on fleet management features: Vehicle Checklists and Road Restriction Alerts.
This investment marks the next step in Shuttle Buses’ commitment to delivering a modern, reliable, and data-driven passenger experience across its network.
TK300 Proven Through Market Evaluation
A Ticketer partner since 2019, Shuttle Buses has previously operated a mixed fleet of TK200 and Ticketer Handheld devices.
The introduction of the next-generation TK300 is a result of Shuttle Buses’ diligent market evaluation, where the Ticketer TK300 was recognised for its advanced capability, robust performance, and alignment with their long-term digital strategy.
Upgraded & Integrated Features for a Modern, Data-Driven Fleet
Already equipped with a comprehensive suite of Ticketer features – including EMV contactless payments, Occupancy data, Schedule Adherence, SIRI, and Premium Tracking – Shuttle Buses is further enhancing its capabilities by also upgrading to Ticketer’s Vehicle Checklists and Road Restriction Alerts bolt-on features, designed to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across its network.
Furthermore, Shuttle Buses will also integrate Ticketer technology with its Destination Blinds, enabling seamless communication between systems and ensuring consistent, automated display updates for drivers and passengers.
Continued Collaboration for Future Growth
Ross Granger, Managing Director at Shuttle Buses says: “We were impressed by the TK300 not just as a ticket machine for today, but as a platform that can evolve with our business, allowing us to benefit from new innovations and features as Ticketer develops them. We are pleased to continue our longstanding relationship with Ticketer, with seamless communication between the TK300 and our new next stop destination kit helping to deliver consistent, reliable information across our modern fleet.”
Callum Huntingdon, Shuttle Buses’ Customer Success Director at Ticketer, adds: “We’re thrilled to continue supporting Shuttle Buses with our latest TK300 driver console as they modernise their fleet. As part of the upgrade process, they went out to market to trial and compare ticketing solutions and quickly recognised the Ticketer TK300 as the industry-leading, powerful technology they required to support their ambitions. We’re proud to remain part of their journey, and their commitment to delivering high-quality services aligns perfectly with our focus on innovation, automation, and operator-friendly solutions.”
