Ticketer is delighted to announce their appointment by Stagecoach as the operator’s new Real-Time Information (RTI) and ticketing technology supplier.
The appointment marks a significant milestone for both organisations as they embark on a new partnership to support Stagecoach‘s operational ambitions and enhance the passenger experience across its nationwide network.
A partnership built for long-term innovation
Central to their new partnership, Stagecoach will deploy Ticketer’s detachable TK300 electronic ticket machine across its fleet, providing a modern, scalable platform that brings together ticketing and RTI into a single integrated ecosystem.
Rollout will see the TK300 implemented nationwide from September onwards, with further solutions and service scope continuing to be refined collaboratively ahead of launch.
As part of this process, Stagecoach is also exploring opportunities to simplify its onboard technology estate through partnerships with new suppliers, further enhancing operational efficiency and the passenger experience. The foundation of this approach will be the Ticketer Portal, serving as a single hub for connected systems, data and services.

Delivering the next generation of Stagecoach
Recognising how far Ticketer’s technology offering has evolved in recent years, Stagecoach has selected the supplier for its scalable and future-ready approach, strong team, collaborative ethos, and ability to support both current operational requirements and longer-term innovation.
Kate Jones, Group Chief Information Officer at Stagecoach, comments: “This partnership with Ticketer marks a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering a smarter, more connected bus network for our customers. By bringing together ticketing, real-time information and vehicle location into a single, integrated platform, we are simplifying our onboard technology while unlocking new opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and the overall passenger experience.”
“We were particularly impressed by Ticketer’s collaborative approach and future-ready technology, which aligns closely with our ambition to innovate at pace and provide a modern, high-quality service across our network. We look forward to working closely with the Stagecoach team to deliver against their operational needs today, while building a long-term partnership that drives operational excellence, enhances the passenger experience, and supports Stagecoach‘s ambitions for years to come.”
