The Ticketer team was kept busy at Euro Bus Expo with constant requests for demos of the company’s new products. There was particular interest in the integrated barcode scanner, which verifies the validity of each m-ticket code presented on bus, removing the risk of fraud, and accurately records the transaction in the same way as other tickets.
The new hand-held ETM was also in demand due to its flexibility in operation, while maintaining all the features of the fixed unit and at the same price.
Also being demonstrated was the new schedule adherence feature, which provides on-bus alerts to prevent drivers from departing from a stop too early. This feature is available on both the hand-held and fixed ETMs.
Ticketer also received VIP visitors at the Show from the company’s latest customer, Cardiff Bus. Cynthia Ogbonna (Managing Director) and Peter Heath (Operations and Commercial Director) were shown all the latest products, including the hand-held ETMs that Cardiff will be using.
