Ticketer displays new equipment and functionality at Album

1 May 2014

Album Conference: Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
13th – 14th May

Ticketer, the UK’s leading provider of innovative ticketing solutions, is launching new functionality for its Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETMs) at Album this month.

Visitors to Ticketer’s stand will learn about the latest hand-held ETM, which is ITSO certified with EMV level 1 card reader. All ETMs from Ticketer also have the option to provide historical tracking and on-bus schedule adherence functionality, alerting drivers if they attempt to depart a timing point early.

Ticketer has several customers in Scotland, including West Coast Motors and Moray Council. Colin Craig, Managing Director for West Coast Motors, comments: “We have had Ticketer machines at our Glasgow operation for some time and they have been a huge step forward for us. We are now rolling out Ticketer ETMs on vehicles at our Mull and Oban depots, too. The great benefit to us is that they have significantly improved access to data in real-time and opened up our options regarding the commercial development of our services.”

John Clarfelt, Managing Director of Ticketer, comments: “We are very excited to give visitors to Album a preview of some of the latest developments with our products.”
