Ticketer, the UK bus and coach industry’s leading real-time information, fleet management and ticketing partner, is excited to announce its participation at ALBUM 2025 where it will showcase two ground breaking innovations.
Developed to overcome limitations of traditional radio systems, Ticketer will debut its upcoming voice broadcast and communication solution – available soon on their next-generation TK300. Leveraging its network signal, inbuilt microphone and speakers, the solution will offer clearer, more reliable and wider-reaching communication. It will also enable targeted, time-based broadcasts to specific drivers or services which can be heard hands-free or replayed when safe to do so. Furthermore, the system will facilitate two-way voice communication, allowing control rooms and drivers to call one another with all usage and call logs recorded within the Ticketer Portal.
Particularly valuable for ALBUM members offering school, DRT and coach services, Passenger Manifests will also be previewed on the Ticketer Handheld during the conference, with plans to expand the feature to the TK300 in future developments. This upcoming functionality supports both pre-booked travel, allowing passengers to be scanned on board via QR codes, and walk-up ticket sales from the same device. Drivers will also benefit from a real-time view of expected versus actual passenger numbers, helping to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
Adam Toone, Chief Commercial and Operations Officer comments: “We’re proud to unveil two of our upcoming innovative solutions at ALBUM 2025, that reflect our mission to empower operators and their drivers with technology that makes a tangible difference. These developments are a leap forward in operational efficiency, communications and the passenger experience – we’re excited to see what ALBUM members make of them.”
Kelly Hanna, Ticketer CEO comments: “We’re all really looking forward to ALBUM 2025 – a favourite event of ours where we get to spend a few days with our valued customers. Listening to their challenges and priorities is what drives our innovation and the developments we’re showcasing this year are a direct response to those conversations. It’s about moving the industry forward together and we’re proud to play an active role in shaping that progress.”
Delegates attending ALBUM 2025 are invited to visit stand 10 to experience live demos of both the innovations mentioned above and to speak with the team.
